Is an economist with over 16 years of experience in Capital Markets, at the Bucharest Stock Exchange, in media, at The Money Channel, and in advisory. She initiated and has driven the project to set up the Romanian Investor Relations Association (ARIR) and she is currently ARIR’s President. She launched VERTIK Group, which includes a consultancy company, a think tank and an investment vehicle. Daniela was Director of Investor Relations and Public Relations at the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) between 2015-2017 and has held various other positions within BVB since 2010. During her term, Biznis Polska awarded BVB for the Best IR Department in CEE in September 2017. As IR professional, Daniela met institutional investors and was involved in organizing events in London, New York, Tokyo, Warsaw, Prague, and Budapest. She is currently a Ph.D. student in Finance, at the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies.
Patrick de Cambourg is the Chair of the EFRAG Sustainability Reporting Board since November 2022.
Between 2015 and November 2022, he was President of the Autorité des normes comptables (ANC), the French accounting standard-setting Public Authority. As such, he was also a member of the Boards of Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF), Autorité de contrôle prudentiel et de Résolution (ACPR), CNOCP and a member of the Haut Conseil de Stabilité Financière.
Patrick was a member of the EFRAG Financial Reporting Board and chaired the EFRAG Project Task Force on preparatory work for the elaboration of possible EU non-financial reporting standards from September 2020 until April 2022.
Patrick, a graduate from Sciences Po Paris, holds degrees in public and business law and has a Bachelor of Arts. As chartered accountant and auditor, he spent his entire career within the Mazars Group, successively as junior, manager, partner and senior partner (1983-2014). Since late 2014, he is Honorary President of the Mazars Group.
Romanian politician, currently Deputy General Secretary of the Government, with the rank of Secretary of State, senator from Dâmbovița in the Romanian Parliament in the mandates 2008–2012 and 2016–2020 from the PSD + PC alliance. Between 2012 and 2016 he was president of the Dâmbovița County Council. He was Minister of Defense from June 29, 2017, to September 6, 2017.
Luca Niculescu was appointed Secretary of State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and National Coordinator for Romania’s OECD Accession Process in September 2022.
He was Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania to France, Andorra and Monaco between 2016-2022. In this capacity, he also represented Romania to other international organizations with headquarters in Paris, such as the OECD and the Francophonie International Organisation. Between 2019-2022, he was also President of the Francophone Ambassadors’ Group in France.
Between 1992 and 2016, Luca Niculescu was a journalist. Editor-in-chief of the Radio station RFI Romania, as well as producer of different shows on several televisions: Money Channel, TVR 1, Digi24. Specialized particularly in international relations, he had a weekly column in Dilema Veche for five years. At the same time, he acted as Romanian correspondent for numerous French media: France Info, France Culture, France Inter, TV5, Libération.
Luca Niculescu graduated from the Bucharest University of Journalism in 1995 and earned a Master’s degree in European Journalism from the Strasbourg University Center for Journalism Education in 1996. He was born on April 25, 1971, in Bucharest.

I am the president of the Agency for Monitoring and Evaluation of the Performance of Public Enterprises.
I am also a member of the Board of Directors of the European Investment Bank (EIB).
I was State Secretary in the Office of the Prime Minister. Previously, I was Secretary of State within the Ministry of Finance and I was responsible for the management of state holdings, the public investment management division and the relationship with the OECD, regarding corporate governance.
I was a partner and member of the investment committee of a private equity fund with branches in Luxembourg and Bucharest. I also worked in banks in the areas of investment and development in Luxembourg and France.
For 5 years, I was a teacher at the Sorbonne University, in Paris, where I taught a course on Monetary Policies and a course on private equity.
I graduated from a PhD program in private equity that was conducted jointly between the Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne University and the West University of Timișoara.
Previously, I graduated from the undergraduate program of the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest and followed a master’s degree in financial engineering at the Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne University.
For several years, I was an adviser to the Vice President of the EIB, my responsibilities being related to South-East Europe (Greece, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Romania and FYROM). In this capacity, we supported financing worth over 10 billion euros for the development of public projects and local companies.
My main interest is the medium and long term development of Romania.
Maria-Gabriela Horga has started office as Vice-President for Investments and Financial Instruments Sector of the Financial Supervisory Authority in December 2023, after her appointment by the Romanian Parliament.
She graduated the Bucharest University of Economic Studies with a major in International Economic Relations and she holds a Ph.D. in Management.
Maria Gabriela Horga has been active in the academic environment for over thirteen years, currently at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies, but also as lecturer at different universities in Romania teaching Financial Management, Investment Management, Business Administration in Foreign Languages.
In 2020 Maria-Gabriela Horga was elected as MP, Member of the Chamber of Deputies for a 4 years term and Deputy Chair of the Budget, Finances, Banks Committee, her mandate being focused on promoting policies aimed at developing the financial sector, consolidating the financial stability of the capital markets and improving the access to financing of SMEs. Among the responsibilities as member of the Romanian Parliament, she dealt with emerging issues on the European agenda, representing Romania in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) and being appointed as the Assembly’s representative to MoneyVal.
Previously, she held the position of State Secretary at the Romanian Government, with responsibilities related to public finances, foreign investments, business administration and taxation and also worked in public administration for the National Agency for Fiscal Administration and the Ministry of Economy.
Is the Chairman of the Board of Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) since 2020. He has over 25 years of experience in the financial markets, holding several positions on the Boards of Directors of listed companies and being the 2015 and 2020 President of the Association of Asset Managers in Romania.
Is currently the CEO of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, a position he has occupied since January 2018 and has a career of over 20 years in equity portfolio management. Prior to taking up this position, Adrian was the Chief Investment Officer for 5 years at NN Pensii, the largest Romanian private pension fund, and CEO at ING Asset Management, Bucharest Branch for 2 years. He is a member of the CFA Institute since 2009.
Marius Cara is the Head of EIB Group Office in Romania, as of 1st March 2024. Before being appointed as Head of the EIB Group Office in Romania, Marius Cara was the Deputy Head of Investor Relations and Sustainable Finance Division at EIB. His main responsibilities included on-going liaison with investors, rating agencies, credit and market analysts, and general market communication on EIB developments.
Has been with Franklin Templeton since 2011 and has over 10 years of experience in the asset management industry. Prior to joining Franklin Templeton Investments, he was editor and presenter of several capital market focused programs on The Money Channel, Romania’s business television. He also worked for BT Asset Management, one of the largest Romanian asset managers.
With 25 years of experience in the financial-banking system in Romania, Flavia has worked throughout her career in legal consultancy, leasing and banking. She started her career as a lawyer, and then started to work in banking field and became involved in all areas of legal activity in a bank, from legal advice in lending, leasing or market operations, to legal assistance in litigation, recovery or governance. Since 2012, Flavia has been the Secretary General of BRD. In this capacity, she coordinates transversal areas as diverse as communication, sustainability and community engagement, public affairs and corporate governance, claims and quality, permanent control or antifraud.
Hagen Schweinitz is a seasoned Executive Search and Governance Advisory consultant who specializes in highly confidential C-Level Executive and Board/Non-Executive searches across all industry sectors. He is leading Eric Salmon & Partner’s Global Board and Governance Advisory Practice. A major part of his work is the recruitment and evaluation of Non-Executive Board Directors.
Has over 20 years of experience in the banking and investment funds management industries, also being a board member for BT Asset Management and BT Pensii. Has graduated an MBA from Hull University in the United Kingdom and is a PhD candidate for the same institution and is currently a lecturer in MBA and Masters programmes.
Ana Bobirca is an experienced investment professional, as partner in a regional private equity advisory firm. She has been working in the investment fund industry for the last 20 years. She has extensive board-level experience as representative in energy, logistics, transportation and international forwarding, financial services, commercial real estate, construction materials, agri-business, distribution, consumer goods.
She is also the vice-president of the Businessmen’s Association of Romania (AOAR), member in the Steering Committee of Coalitia pentru Dezvoltarea Romaniei (CDR), where she is currently chairing the CDR Strategic Group on Financial Resources Allocation for Recovery and Resilience and member of the Competition Council Consultative Board.
Ana is an associate professor at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies, Department of International Business and Economics, with relevant academic experience in the areas of international business, international services trade, intangible economy. Ana is an associate professor in Advanced Finance with the Romanian-French INDE MBA programme. She has authored four books and published in international peer-reviewed academic journals. Ana is a graduate of the Bucharest University of Economic Studies, Department of International Business and Economics and holds a PhD in international business and economics from the same university.
Marius Ștefan is CEO and Founder of Autonom, an integrated provider of mobility and financing services.
Marius Ștefan graduated from the MBA program of the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland. Marius is a strong supporter of education and entrepreneurship. 10 years ago, together with his brother, Dan Ștefan, he developed the Autonom Foundation – a unique initiative with a decentralized decision-making system. In 2022, over 2,00 educational projects were initiated and supported by the Foundation, reaching a total of 840. Currently, Marius is president of Romanian Business Leaders, chairman of the Endeavor Romania board and member of the Teach for Romania board. He was elected member of the Supervisory Board of OMV Petrom, the largest company listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange) and is a consultant on the board of companies such as Secom, Dr. Leahu Clinics and many others.
Alexandru Chiriță is a professional with considerable experience in the legal and energy fields. He obtained a law degree at the Faculty of Law of the University of Bucharest in 2008 and subsequently dedicated almost a decade to practicing law.
Throughout his career, he has accumulated extensive experience in advising on various legal issues, including commercial law, commercial transactions, and litigation. His deep understanding of the legal framework, together with the ability to develop and implement effective legal strategies, were essentially achieving the organizational objectives.
Its multidisciplinary background is reflected in academic realities. Alexandru Chiriță holds a Master’s degree in European Law and Governance from the National Coalition of Political and Administrative Studies, a master’s degree in European Union Law, and a bachelor’s degree in law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Bucharest. Currently, he is pursuing doctoral university studies in the administrative department of the National School of Political and Administrative Studies within the National School of Political and Administrative Studies.
Before joining Electrica, he held the positions of Legal Manager and Data Protection Manager within Hidroelectrica. In these functions, it has formulated and implemented legal and data protection strategies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, managing disputes and disputes, and overseeing contractual negotiations. His legal competence and experience proved to be invaluable in the role of CEO of Electrica, a position he has held since May 2022.
Magda Manea is a professional independent director, currently serving in a tech company and a financial institution. Before embarking on a portfolio career in 2016, Ms. Manea spend 25 years working in the banking industry, in both Romania and abroad. During her 10 years at the Romanian Central Bank, she contributed to the development and regulation of the local market, the strategic sovereign borrowing program and the administration of the international reserves. Through her international experience, gained while working for foreign banks in the CEE region, she was able to understand and participate in the profound transformation of the region.
Ms. Manea has dedicated time and effort volunteering for professional associations and not for profit organizations since 1995. She holds a MA in finance from the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest, and a certification in corporate governance from INSEAD (IDP-C). She also became a certified internal auditor (IIA) in 2020.
He is a professional with over 20 years of experience in the financial-operational field, FMCG distribution, logistics and transport, and target management, working since 2006 in the largest leading company in integrated distribution and logistics services for the consumer goods market in Romania and the Republic of Moldova, AQUILA. Within AQUILA, he coordinated the financial department for 14 years, holding the position of Financial Director, and is currently Director of Investor Relations within the same company. Also, between 2001-2004 he was financial controller, Exploration and Production Division: international exposure within Rompetrol, and between 2004-2006 within ING Bank he held the position of Corporate Relations Manager.
Vlad Bodea is one of the new generations of entrepreneurs passionate about engineering and technology. He wrote the first line of code in the fourth grade.
In the following years, he continued developing and deepening his passion for programming and the operation and troubleshooting of computer systems. He later channeled his devotion to infrastructure and communication, internet and security. In the 2nd year of college, 20 years ago, Vlad Bodea became a co-founder of BENTO, under the formal name that the company still bears today, 2B Intelligent Soft. Vlad’s professional development is closely linked to BENTO, which went through most of the roles that appeared with the company’s development. With the growth of BENTO, Vlad moved away from the technical side, focusing on operations and management. Under its direct coordination, BENTO has been a leader in implementing a WFM (Workforce Management) solution for one of the company’s strategic clients. During the coordination of this project, which involved managing a complex group of stakeholders, both IT and non-IT, Vlad gained valuable experience in project management and business operational analysis. This project laid the foundations for BENTO’s focus on projects involving the automation of field operations. In the last years of BENTO’s evolution, Vlad focused more and more on strategic planning and internal process management. In addition to involvement in various company operational areas, Vlad oversees the departments: Commercial and Sales, Marketing, and Human Resources.
Peter de Boer is a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Business Administration at Leiden University, The Netherlands, as well as the financial evaluation and modeling course at CFI Corporate Financial Institute. He has been part of the DN AGRAR team since 2019, as a Strategic Corporate Financial Manager and Investor Relations Manager. Thanks to experience Peter is in charge of leading the administrative departments of the group of DN AGRAR companies and is responsible for establishing and implementing Human Resource strategies, as well as the strategy of digitization of the companies within the group. The implementation of an ERP system and management software for agriculture. From the perspective of the relationship with the investors of DN AGRAR, Peter is responsible for maintaining effective, constant, and transparent communications, ensuring a long-term partnership with them.
Alexandru Bonea is a serial entrepreneur with successful business experience in three countries. He is the initiator of the Meta Estate Trust project, through which he introduced an innovative business model to the Romanian market, connecting the real estate and capital markets.
He has over 7 years of experience in the real estate sector, during which time he has overseen Delta Studio Group’s real estate investments and managed residential real estate developments, launching projects in Portugal, Dubai and Romania.
Adriana has graduated the Academy of Economic Studies, Bucharest Romania, Faculty of Trade, Tourism specialization in 1991. After graduation, she initially worked as banking analyst for 6 years, of which 2 years at ABN AMRO Bank as structured finance officer and 4 years at the Romanian Eximbank as project finance analyst. Then she worked as equity sell side analyst for 19 years, of which 3 years in local and regional brokerage houses, 6.5 years at UniCredit/CAIB Securities and 9.5 years in Societe Generale Group (SG/BRD). Since May 2016 she joined OMV Petrom’s IR Department, currently in the position of Senior IR expert, where some key responsibilities are, among others, to provide advice on sensitive capital markets issues, offer support with relevant information and feedback on capital market related topics to Executive Board members and take the lead in providing guidance to analysts within the limits of disclosure agreed internally (earnings previews) and in communicating to management analysts’ reaction to company releases.
Daniela is an experienced professional, with over 10 years of experience and demonstrated track record in capital markets, strategy, and communication, working for one of the largest listed companies in Romania – OMV Petrom and Electrica. For over 5 years she has been coordinating the operational activity of ARIR, collaborating with the 40 members of the organization. In her role as an IR professional, she was responsible for ensuring efficient and transparent reporting to the capital market, defining and managing the message to investors, and ensuring the company’s visibility and investor accessibility to the company’s management. She interacted with over 100 local and international investors and coordinated the organization of events dedicated to them, supporting management in conveying the company’s message. She is also Partner in a micro VC that supports start-ups in early stage.
Răzvan Butucaru, together with his team of passionate professionals, offers support for the critical moments that define the success of a business. Răzvan is currently leading the financial services and advisory group within the Romanian office which comprises a variety of business lines such as deals advisory, risk & corporate governance consulting, financial services regulatory and IFRS desk. Prior to joining the firm in 2014, Răzvan started his career in a Big 4 company and subsequently worked in the banking sector for a large regional financial services group. In the financial services sector, Răzvan worked with some of the largest companies in CEE (e.g insurance companies, banks, investment funds etc), and offered them high-quality services, delivered by a team of specialists who have the global, regional, and local regulatory knowledge and technical expertise to provide a broad range of solutions in a truly integrated fashion. He has been involved in many projects dedicated to the banking & capital markets practice and he offers guidance on regulation and compliance, risk management, and finance-related aspects. Răzvan holds a BSc from The Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies, majoring in Banks and Stock Exchange from the Faculty of Finance, Insurance, Banks and Stock Exchange alongside an MSc from the same university majoring in Internal audit within the financial services sector. He is a member of the Chamber of Financial Auditors of Romania (CAFR), a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), and other professional bodies (e.g. IIA).
Laura Negrișoiu is currently Director within the Sustainability Services team at Mazars in Romania, and in the same time, acting as a Strategic Projects and Internal Sustainability Director for Mazars Turkiye. She is committed to helping companies succeed in integrating corporate sustainability, regardless of their current stage in their sustainability journey and understands that intentional change management is one of the key elements in doing so.
Laura is offering sustainability advisory services to clients on the Romanian market while driving the internal sustainability program of Mazars Turkiye meant to connect sustainability to firm’s strategy and to its results, including through the B- Corp certification project. In addition, she has significant experience in managing high impact projects with regional and local dimension ranging from process optimization & automation to risk management, governance and internal audit. Her portfolio spans across a range of industries, from banking, operational leasing to retail and production.Before joining Mazars in 2016, Laura started her career in a Big 4 company and subsequently has worked in the operational leasing sector for a large international financial services group.
Laura holds a BSc from The Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies, majoring in Strategic Marketing from the Faculty of Marketing. She is a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and a Project Management Professional (PMP) within Project Management Institute (PMI).
Ms. Gianina DIMITRESCU is a graduate of the Faculty of Letters within the University of Bucharest, graduated in European Cultural Studies, with specializations in Public Policies and European Integration and the European Public Space,in Public Administration for Sustainable Development (Postgraduate Program within the Bucharest University of Economic Studies). Training on PCM – Maastricht School for Management, in Protocol and communication in diplomacy at Romanian Diplomatic Institute, Ministry of Foreign Affairs. With a relevant experience in the field of protection and promotion of human rights for over 20 years. Ms. DIMITRESCU is currently working as director of Directorate Equal Opportunities and Treatment Between Women and Men within the National Agency for Equal Opportunities between Women and Men.
In this capacity, she represented the Agency in international conferences or meetings that addressed the issue of gender equality and gender based violence, children’s and family rights, with a special focus on preventing and combating gender discrimination. Responsible in relation to specific directions of the European Commission, Council of Europe, United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women, Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie, United Nations Children’s Fund. Drafting methodologies and plans, elaborated and implemented the National Strategy in the field. Significant experience in developing materials, agenda and documents for meetings of position – Regional Development, Employment and Social policy in relation to gender equality.
Ms. DIMITRESCU is part of the working groups whose object was to negotiate the conditions and application of cooperation agreements and protocols signed at government level between Romania and other EU member states. She participated and contributed to the development of the following plans and strategies: Strategy of the Cooperation with UNICEF – Country Program Action Plan for 2013 – 2017, National Strategy for Gender Equality and for Preventing and combating domestic violence 2018-2021 and 2022-2027. Team coordinator for the first event of Romania at UN WOMEN, UN headquarters, in New York. 2015-2020 National focal point for reporting on the implementation of Romania’s commitments in the HeForShe Campaign. 2015-2017 – Junior Project Leader in the Twinning project “Support to the Implementation of Gender Equality” Republic of Macedonia, 2014-2024 participation in the work of the High-Level Group on Gender Mainstreaming, organized by the Directorate-General for Justice, the Equality Directorate of the European Commission, 2015 – 2022 – Participation in the Commission’s work on the condition of women (CSW) held in New York, USA. 2014 – 2023- participation in the Advisory Committee on Equal Opportunities for Women and Men of the European Commission (2023 was the president of this Commission). 2017 – Member of the National Committee of Organization of the World Women’s Forum (FMFF). 2019 – coordinator for the implementation of the activities during the Romanian Presidency of the Council of the European Union. 2021- In the context of the Generation Equality Forum she is responsible for the implementation of the activities within the Coalition for Action Support feminist movements and women’s leadership. 2020-presently is the Vice-president of the National Working Group for the Implementation of National Strategy and the Action Plan for the Security Council Resolution 1325 on Women, Peace and Security.
In the past she was working on Child Protection Directorate, handling the cases related to the field of international relations and ensuring the administrative procedures regarding the repatriation of Romanian minors, identified unaccompanied or in difficulty on the territory of other states, with a special focus on preventing and combating child abuse and exploitation.

Working for two global financial groups – NN/ING (14 years) and AXA (more than10 years), she had top executive roles as CEO of different entities across Europe for insurance business, regional CEO for different European countries and in other jobs, she had responsibilities at global and local levels across Americas, Europe and Asia. She was Chairperson of Boards of Directors for many insurance and pension entities in Europe, for professional organizations in the USA and Europe, as a representative of the multinational groups she worked for.
Adela is an experienced finance professional, currently serving as the voice of ACCA’s Romanian members in the International Assembly of the ACCA, a representative body within the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), the World’s leading body for professional accountants.

Dorina Șfabu is currently serving as the Deputy Director of the Equity Research Department at TradeVille, the largest retail broker in Romania. Dorina graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, with a specialization in Finance and Banking in 2020. She also holds a master’s degree in Banks and Capital Markets. She started her career as an Equity Research Analyst at Evalueserve, where she worked for two years before joining TradeVille, providing support in research coverage for the equity research division of a global investment bank.
