Electrica S.A. is a Romanian energy company with majority private capital, listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange and the London Stock Exchange since July 2014, following the largest initial public offering (IPO) in the history of the BVB, worth EUR 444 million. It is the only stock market privatization in Romania involving a majority stake, as well as the only company listed on the BVB that operates in both electricity distribution and supply in Romania through its subsidiaries.
