Bucharest, May 12th, 2022 – ARIR, the only association specialized in Investor Relations from Romania, a community of companies listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB), announces the publication of VEKTOR methodology through which will be evaluated for the first time the interaction of the companies included in BET AeRO with investors.
VEKTOR, the indicator of the communication with investors of the listed companies, is published on BVB website, on the page of each company, and measures the quality of communication with investors for the companies listed on the main market since 2019, based on well-established criteria. In 2022, the indicator was extended to the companies active on AeRO market and the first evaluation will take place in December. The first results for the AeRO market will be published in January 2023.

”For a listed company, the fair evaluation of the company on the stock exchange is obtained by the communication with investors. After 3 years of evaluating the listed companies on the main market of BVB using VEKTOR indicator, starting with 2022 we will evaluate for the first time the communication of the companies from BET AeRO, according to a simplified methodology. Therefore, we respond to the needs and expectations of the active investors on the local capital market, more sophisticated, digitized and more preoccupied about the market developments.”
The Association also revised the evaluation methodology for 2022 for the listed companies on the main market of the Bucharest Stock Exchange. The revision of VEKTOR methodology for the main market aimed to increase the share of the events dedicated to investors, to include companies’ policies requested by investors, such as the dividend policy, and the introduction of digital tools for the interaction with the market, in line with our goals set since the launch of VEKTOR indicator.
VEKTOR Evaluation Criteria for 2022
For 2022 evaluation, VEKTOR AeRO methodology includes 11 objective criteria, respectively: IR Contact details; Bilingual presentation of the company on its website; Quarterly financial reporting; Financial results press releases; Use of digital tools for the presentation of the financial results; Investors conferences/Teleconferences; Historical financial results in an easy way to process format; Corporate governance section; Remuneration policy, Dividend policy, GMS access through electronic instruments.
For 2022 evaluation, the VEKTOR methodology, for the main market includes 12 objective criteria, aligned with the international best practices in Investor Relations (IR), respectively: Investor presentation; Financial results conference calls, Financial results press releases, Conference call replay or transcript; Availability of the financial results in an easy to process format; Events dedicated to investors; Investors analysts’ conferences, List of covering analysts; Corporate governance section; Board of directors and management disclosure; Dividend policy; Non-financial reporting.
VEKTOR indicator was calculated by ARIR for the first time in 2019 and is published annually to evaluate the communication with investors of the listed companies. VEKTOR methodology was developed by ARIR in collaboration with an extensive group of local and international specialists (financial analysts, IR professionals, consultants and academia) to include the expectations of institutional and individual investors, being reviewed annually.
