As of May 25, 2018, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and the repeal of Directive 95/46/CE (General Data Protection Regulation) and on July 31, 2018, Law no. 190/2018 on measures to implement Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and its repeal of Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation)
1. WHAT INFORMATION WE COLLECT ABOUT YOU
You should know that there are two types of information that we collect about ir-romania.ro.ro users:
a) Personal information – that information that can identify you and can include, for example, your first and last name, phone number or email address.
b) Information that cannot identify you personally – information that refers, as a rule, to the computer or mobile device from which you access the ir-romania.ro services, but that does not identify you personally. This information may include, among others, the web pages you have visited, the services you have accessed, the advertising (advertisements) sent to you, the transaction history, the IP address, information about your Internet connection, etc.
Use of our services / Marketing messages from ir-romania.ro
ir-romania.ro may collect information about your use of our information. We may also collect information about the marketing messages we send you and how you respond to them.
2. HOW WE COLLECT INFORMATION ABOUT YOU
We collect information about you in three ways:
a) Directly – when you register on the ir-romania.ro website; when you subscribe to the newsletter or when you interact directly with us.
b) Automatically – when you use ir-romania.ro online services, we collect information through cookies and by logging your activity. For more information on the use of cookies, please consult the information on the website.
In addition, if you have previously provided us with personal information, we can automatically associate that information with other information we collect, so that we can identify you on multiple devices and browsers, offering you the same browsing experience regardless of the medium you are connecting to.
Please remember that you can ask us at any time to exclude you from the ir-romania.ro database, by sending us an email at contact@ir-romania.ro. Although your account will be deleted, we will keep certain information only for the purpose of answering any questions/requests of any kind that you may have in the future.

We may share personal information about you with third parties.
Service providers: to perform certain functions related to the activity of ir-romania.ro: For example, our service providers can offer services such as research, analysis, website hosting, transaction execution, database maintenance, provision of services and technological platforms, deliveries and payment processing, parcel deliveries. Usually, when we provide these companies with personal information, we take great care to share only the information that these companies need to perform their functions, expressly mentioning that this information can only be used when it is necessary to perform services on our behalf or to comply with legal requirements. Similarly, when appropriate, we take steps to request our service providers to protect the personal information transmitted.
Legal Reasons: We may use or disclose the information, in whole or in part, to cooperate with or assist law enforcement, governmental or regulatory bodies, content protection organizations, or legal proceedings in connection with or to prevent suspected or possible fraud. We may also use or disclose information that we deem appropriate to the extent that records have been subpoenaed or in connection with ongoing or potential litigation, or to enforce or protect the rights or safety of online service users.

It is possible to collaborate with third-party networks of market research companies, to present you various products and services through online services or to help us evaluate the use of online services, the viewing of advertisements and other types of content. These third-party companies can view, edit or set their own tracking technologies / cookies, which will allow them to collect information about how you interact with the content while using the ir-romania.ro services. The use of these technologies by third-party companies is subject to their own privacy policies and is not covered by this privacy policy.
6. HOW WE PROTECT PERSONAL INFORMATION
We assure you that we maintain both the procedures and the technical/access rules to the ir-romania.ro services at a very high standard, with the aim of protecting your personal data against loss, incorrect use or access, disclosure, modification or unauthorized destruction, data that you provide through ir-romania.ro services. Unfortunately, no data transmission is guaranteed to be 100% secure. It is possible for third parties, who are not under our control, to illegally intercept or access transmissions or private communications. Consequently, any transmission of information regarding personal identity is done on your own account. If you notice any irregularity and think we can help you, please request our help at office@ir-romania.ro.
The information we collect about you may be transferred or saved to destinations outside the European Union. Also, there may be situations when your data may be processed by persons (employees of service providers for ir-romania.ro) located outside the European Union. By entering personal information in the forms of the ir-romania.ro services, you agree with everything mentioned above, in this paragraph.

7. YOUR RIGHTS AND CHOICES
Natural persons have specific rights according to the laws in force regarding the protection of personal data which include, but are not limited to:
• The right to be informed – what personal information ARIR collects and how it will be processed and to whom the information is disclosed.
• The right to access your personal data – You may request a copy of the personal information collected about you in order to access, review and update your personal information stored by ARIR
• Right to rectification – You may correct or amend any inaccurate or incomplete information about you. located in the ARIR database
• The right to erasure – You have the right to have your personal information deleted if the retention of your personal information is no longer necessary, provided that there is no legitimate interest or legal requirement to continue to retain your personal information
• The right to restrict data processing – you can provide a reason and request that your personal data is not processed by ARIR, and ARIR will respond if it is able to comply with the request or to what extent it is able to comply with the interruption request of processing
• The right to data portability – You can request that ARIR provide you with your personal data stored in a structured form that gives you the possibility to move your personal data to another service.
• The right to object – You can object to the fact that your data. personal data are used for psychological profiling, direct marketing, research or automated decision-making purposes by ARIR.
8. CONSENT TO THE PROCESSING AND TRANSFER OF INFORMATION ABOUT YOU
A. Purpose
As a member or potential member of the Romanian Stock Exchange Investor Relations Association (“ARIR”), your consent must be freely given to obtain and process your information personal, in accordance with the specific and legitimate purpose for which the information is collected.
Before giving your consent, you must be informed of this policy. ARIR recognizes the need to maintain the confidentiality of private, sensitive and proprietary information of all ARIR customers. In section 2 below (Legitimate Interest for the customer’s personal data) we have presented ARIR’s legitimate interests for the processing of the customer’s data. In addition, ARIR retains the specific rights afforded to our members and audience under applicable laws regarding the protection of personal data collected and how it is processed by ARIR. In section 3 below (Your rights in relation to personal data) we outline your individual rights in relation to ARIR’s processing of your personal data.
B. Legitimate Interest in Customer Data
ARIR will process the personal data of its members and partners for legitimate business purposes. The purpose of the processing must not be limited to information and the running of events, but are nevertheless usual or necessary for the operational, administrative, human resources (HR) management and the management of the relationship with them. Specific examples include, but are not limited to:
• Developing the association to include new members or partners
• Collecting Data about members and partners and creating profiles to implement in Romania the best practices in communication with investors
• Sharing data with third parties with the intention of improving communication best practices
9. DATA PRIVACY POLICY UPDATE
From time to time, we may revise this privacy policy. If we make revisions to how we collect or use personal data, we will notify you of those changes by: (1) announcing the change to ir-romania.ro services or (2) taking other actions as we deem appropriate in these circumstances, including without limitation, posting the revised version of this Privacy Policy online. You should check our services frequently for updates, or at least when you purchase a ticket from the site.
If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, in whole or in part, please discontinue using our Online Services.
